Yes, when I put on the jersey it says, “Marvin” on the back, but it has nothing to do with that. It’s amazing knowing who I am - to know that I’m never going to get cut, to know that I’m on this team for a reason, to know that everything God works for His good. It’s nothing compared to Jesus Christ and His prize for eternity.

There are so many capable women who can and should be on the air, but they never get the opportunity. Hockey broadcasting, even in the women’s game, has been dominated by men for years. She’ll serve as the color analyst for that game as well, while yours truly hands the play-by-play call.
Marvin will make her women’s hockey commentary debut at Northeastern on Saturday afternoon, when the Huskies host the rival Boston University Terriers. Her time at Matthews Arena begins this week, as she will serve as the color analyst to Rob Rudnick for Northeastern’s men’s matchup with UMass on Friday night.
